Describe things with な-adjectives and い-adjectives — as predicates and modifying nouns — with とても/あまり and 〜が.

な-adjectives drop な before です. Negative: 〜じゃ(では)ありません.

い-adjectives keep い before です. Negative: 〜くないです (いい → よくないです).

Adjective before a noun: な-adj keeps な, い-adj keeps い.

が joins two clauses in an antithetical relation ("…, but …").
